So busy out there, so lonely inside.

In the midst of my pursuit for material comfort, I have always ask myself, "Why am I doing the stuff that I am doing everyday? Why do I even bother?"

Cos I just can't help but feel really empty everyday after a busy day at work. Its like everything that you have ever pursued is just a handful of dirt, which will always elude you no matter how much you try to hold it down.

I died another day today.

Has anyone feel that way?

iris, yes. i think at some point in a person's life such thoughts surely would surface.

now, when i think that way, i just tell myself its for my children. and that kind of justifies going through another day of it. but deep down, i guess i still do question what is the meaning of life.

Iris, if like most everyone of us you're searching for the meaning of life, can I suggest that you read the book "The Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren. It'll, prayfully, help you understand why you are alive and God's amazing plan for you and I, and everyone else.
